Type VC

The VC is a zero-pressure single lip radial oil seal with no garter spring. The rubber covered OD improves the OD sealing ability. The internal face of the steel case is not fully rubber covered. This seal is not recommended for use in a polluted environment as it contains no exclusionary sealing lip. To maximize performance over the lifetime of the seal an adequate lubricant should be applied under the sealing lip.

• Good oil and fuel resistance (especially to hydraulic oils)
• Good resistance to pressure
• Good wear resistance & high tensile strength
• Low swelling in water
