Hatch Cover Tape is recommended for marine applications where the weather and sea conditions can be moderate and predictable, and only demand a medium strength tape.

Hatch Cover Tape makes it possible to acquire reliable flexible and effective medium duty sealing for the hatch cover. Hatch Cover Tape offers far greater strength than duct tape but does not quite equal the heavy duty, critical service strength.

 

USAGE

Typical uses include barge hatch covers, ship’s hatch covers, tank covers, weather deck doors, and metal pipe protection from cathodic and corrosion conditions.

Lifetime of the Hatch cover tape after applied to the ship: 10 years based on usage
